(1) Translation Activities
The Myanmar Bible Society is developing, translating, printing, and distributing Bibles with the aim of enabling people of various languages in Myanmar to read and study the Bible in their own mother tongues and hear the good news of Christ. The following Bible translation activities are being carried out:

(2) Falam Chin Old Testament (New Testament)
(3) Tetin Chin Old Testament (New Testament)
(4) Geba Old Testament
(5) Lay Myo Chin Old Testament
(6) Hawa Naga Bible Edition
(7) Ashochin Bible Edition
(8) Myanmar (BFBS) Bible Edition
(9) Lawaw Bible Edition
(10) Lachid Bible Edition
(11) Zanyak Chin Bible Edition
(2) Bible Translation Consultants
Bible translation consultants are reviewing the translated manuscripts to ensure that the Bible translation is not only accurate but also relevant to the text. They are overseen by (2) full-time translation consultants and (4) part-time translation consultants.

(3) Scrutiny of Bibles
The Geba Old Testament, which has already been translated, was scrutinized by the translation consultant, Rev. Nant Aye Aye Chit, in Taungoo during May 5-8, 2025. (There is also a trip planned for November.)
The Akha Samma Bible was scrutinized by the translation secretary, Saya Ze Zaung, in Kengtung during June 23-27, 2025.
The Asho Chin Samma Bible was scrutinized by the translation consultant, Mrs. Naw Gay Balu Pho, in the Myanmar Bible Society Library during August 11-15, 2025.
The Hakha Chin Old Testament (New Testament) was scrutinized by the translation consultant, Venerable Rev. Dr. Nang Sawm Piang, in Yangon during March, June, August, September and October, 2025.
The Lay Myo Chin Old Testament manuscript review was conducted by Translation Consultant Ms. Naw Gay Blut Paw from October (15) to November (15) 2025 at the Bible Society Library in Yangon.
